The number of years spent in university varies as different courses of study take different numbers of years. After the FET phase, learners who pursue further studies typically take three or four years to obtain an undergraduate degree or one or two years to achieve a vocational diploma or certificate. Those in university, as well as those in secondary school, are referred to as students. Those in primary school are often referred to as pupils. Some courses have longer study length than others. However, the number of years to be spent in university is mostly determined by the course of study. If youвЂ™re a physics major in grad school, youвЂ™re going to be meeting a lot of other physics majors that are also in grad school. If youвЂ™re going on to grad school, youвЂ™re going to have very different responsibilities, but youвЂ™re also going to be meeting other people that are truly dedicated to the field that theyвЂ™re in. Post college is fun because youвЂ™ve built up a network of friends and associates throughout your undergrad years.

This opens up new opportunities to go to bars and clubs, or any other venue that is only for 21+. Junior and senior year often have the perk of being 21+. You have established friends and you still have plenty of opportunities to meet new people. Junior and senior year, youвЂ™re getting to really know the people within your major because youвЂ™re past most of the gen ed classes.

YouвЂ™ve become a more integrated part of the school and youвЂ™re still taking a wide range of classes and learning new things. Sophomore year is fun because you already have friends from freshman year who youвЂ™re being reunited with after summer. Freshman year is a new and exciting experience. Different years can be fun for entirely different reasons. Life is what you make it, regardless of your situation.
